J & J

Jaclyn and Joerdan are so stinkin’ cute I can’t even handle it. Not only are they a completely gorgeous couple, they are so fun to be around, and kind, and faith-centered, and silly, and you get the point- they’re awesome. I’ve known Jaclyn for a long time and she happens to also come from a pretty amazing family who are very dear to my heart so it was a total honor to be asked to coordinate her wedding.
Their Nashville wedding was an absolute blast. We LOVED getting to work with the extremely talented W & E Photographie out of Birmingham. John Hillin did the gorg videography and was also super cool to work with. Yeah, this job is pretty fun.

How precious is this first look?

Such a sweet first moment as husband and wife!

So happy I was able to get a photo with them!

Thanks to all the awesome vendors who came together to work on J & J’s big day. We were so thrilled to be a part of it all…..and congrats to this pretty cool duo.

Lisa and Kevin

This wedding was such a joy to be a part of. Lisa and Kevin are two of the nicest people you could ever meet in your life. Their love for each other is so true and so genuine. I loved every single detail of their day. It was so full of love and laughter as they were surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Their love story began when Kevin moved across the street from Lisa. Just being around these two makes your heart happy!

Absolutely loved watching Lisa dance with her dad. Such a beautiful moment they shared!_DSC7639bw

From their outfit change to the gorgeous car, their getaway was perfect!

Congratulations to such a wonderful couple!

So, I adore Lauren Tomasella. Not only is she an uh-mazing photographer, she’s one of the most thoughtful, down-to-earth, and kindest people you will ever meet.

I decided to do some head shots for my web site. After getting dolled up with the very talented Nancy Finnegan (makeup) and Ashley White (hair), Lauren and I headed downtown. I wanted to share with you guys some of my absolute favorites from the day!

I also really wanted some new photos with Ryan. We had not had any taken since our wedding day.  Ahhhhh…I literally cried when I saw these. Married couples, I encourage you guys to get photos with your spouse (besides just on your wedding day)! My personal advice is before you have kiddos (or during..or after), take some time to capture these special moments between just the two of you. I know how much these will always mean to me.

Meet Aimee

Hey guys, I’m Aimee, the newest belle on the team. You can’t really know someone until you know where they’ve been, so here’s 10 fun facts all about yours truly!

10. I’m passionate about travel. I was raised an Army brat so I grew up living all over and traveling a lot. By the time I turned 16 I visited all 50 states and 15 countries and lived in 5 states and 2 countries.

Willis Tower skydeck in Chicago

Haleakala National Park

9. Yes, I have a bucket list. I have had a bucket list since I was 21 when I realized that life is too short so why not start living now? I have my bucket list divided into places I want to visit, activities I want to do & foods I want to try. I am constantly knocking stuff off of my bucket list and adding new stuff to it.

8. I love poetry & quotes. I am addicted to reading them on tumblr every day. My favorite quote is “Everything happens for a reason.”

7. I am not a fitness junkie- just a zumba, yoga, and kickboxing lover. I fit one of those exercises in at least once a week into my schedule because I have so much fun doing them.

6. Oh, nature. Getting lost in nature once in a while is a must for me. Exploring God’s beauty is so peaceful to me, and I always feel refreshed after taking some quality time outdoors.

5. Thankful for the Maui Mist.. I did a Public Relations Internship at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in 2009 where I learned of my passion for event planning. Maui taught me a lot about myself, and I will be forever thankful for having the opportunity to spend 3 months living in gorgeous Maui.

4. I’ve got a Floral Obsession. I have recently become very interested in researching what the meanings of different flowers are. My favorite flowers are angel cheeks peonies, sunflowers, and hibiscuses.

3. I cannot live without my camera. I love taking pictures of my family, beautiful moments, and nature. I adore looking at old pictures and reminiscing about those times.

Seward, Alaska

2. My secret dream is to be a travel writer who travels the world and writes about the culture and my experiences.

1. What makes my heart happy is spending time with my son, Cameryn. He lights up my life. I love the way Cameryn goes after everything in life with such flare and optimism. He has taught me the true meaning of living life to the fullest.

xoxo- Aimee

Hi-Fi Wedding Fest

We had such a great time at the Hi-Fi Wedding Festival at Lowe Mill! It was a blast getting to participate in this totally unique wedding fair. We loved getting to network and stand alongside some extremely cool fellow wedding vendors, not to mention all the fun couples we were able to meet!
The belles ready to go!
Our booth- A huge thanks to Jacki with Salt and Paperie who created our promo materials and our awesome chalk art. She creates gorgeous invitations, chalk art, and paper goods!

Jacki and me
The furniture and vases were rented from Vintage on Macon. Jackie Tate carries everything from gold trimmed vintage china to gorgeous natural wood furniture pieces. One visit to her showroom and you’ll be blown away by everything she has in stock. From a barnyard rustic feel to a black tie roaring twenties themed affair, she’s got your event covered!
Melanie Nord did the florals. She is so talented. She incorporated a cool modern look with some fun pops of bold color.

We were so happy to be directly across from sweet Michelle of Just Crumbs. Her cakes are to.die.for.
The hubs made a pretty cool stand for our TV slideshow. The TV sat inside, and it looked like an old window. I definitely thought it was a cool touch to our booth and we had so many compliments on it!
We did a drawing and gave away a “date night.” I love me some Cotton Row …too bad employees weren’t eligible to win! Our gift basket included a $100 gift card, some chocolates, a wine bag, wine glasses, and a candle. IMG_7564
And the grand prize went to……Rebecca Harmon! She won the drawing and sent us this pic with her “date night” basket. Congrats Rebecca!

Thanks so much to all who came out. We had such a great time! Special thanks to White Rabbit Studios and Sleepy Fox Photography for hosting this smashing event.
